Synergy Definitions

When someone looks at the synergies of two factions, what does this mean? Here we give definitions of how we describe our synergy rankings when pairing factions.

7

Superb

Faction pairs classified with the Superb (7) synergy are those that have an extreme advantage in the game. They either utizilize the same mechanics very well with one another, or one of the factions helps the other faction unlock it's full potential.

Great

Faction pairs classified with a Great (6) synergy are those that have a lot of cards that sync between the two factions. More often than not, the main mechanics, themes, or gimmicks work very well with each other.

Good

Faction pairs classified with a Good (5) synergy are those that have some combinations that can occur.

Neutral

Faction pairs classified with a Neutral (4) synergy are those that neither help nor hurt the paired faction's game plan.

Bad

Faction pairs classifed with a Bad (3) synergy are those that have some cards from one of the factions that do not sync well with the other faction. This could cause a slight disadvantage when playing.

Terrible

Faction pairs classified with a Terrible (2) synergy are those that have a lot of cards that do not go well with the other faction. More often then not, the main mechanics, themes, or gimmicks contradict one another.

Garbage

Faction pairs classified with a Garbage (1) synergy are those contradict each other's overall game plan. Players playing with this pair are highly unlikely to succeed at being effective and win the game in normal conditions.
